Being Asian in Australia and the United States
This project examines Asian groups in Australia and the US with the aim of identifying points of connection and difference that will strengthen our understanding of race relations, national identities and globalised cultures. AAI 2 Conference
The very successful AAI 2 postgraduate workshop and conference took place from 27-30 June 2007 at ANU House and the Rydges Carlton in Melbourne.
As well as full days of keynotes, panels and discussions, there was also an Asian Australian cabaret on the Thursday evening (28 June) and a meetup with some locals at the Asian Australian Meetup on Friday night. Tracking Echoes is the online research resource for Echoes of Home: Memory and Mobility in Recent Austral-Asian Art.

INDAAR: International Network for Diasporic Asian Art Research
INDAAR is an international network for researchers interested in comparative and transnational studies of diasporic Asian art.
The network facilitates opportunities for initiating transnational dialogues and generating collaborative research projects.
INDAAR was initiated by the founding convenor Dean Chan and launched in 2009.
