Jane Camens
Jane Camens is completing a PhD in Creative Writing with Brian Castro at the University of Adelaide. Her thesis involves a novel set between Macau and Australia as well as an exegesis that explores transnational identities in contemporary Asian-Australian literature. Jane founded the Asia-Pacific Writing Partnership for writers, scholars and others interested in new writing from Asia and the Pacific. Her short stories have been published in Hong Kong and the UK. She lived in Greater China for almost 20 years and continues to hold 'permanent resident' status in Hong Kong although she lives now in Australia. She received her MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia, UK.
