Jan Jindy Pettman is Emeritus Professor and Visiting Fellow with the Gender, Sexuality and Culture, School of Humanities at the Australian National University. Jindy is a Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences of Australia and co-founder and former home base editor of the International Feminist Journal of Politics. She has spent many years working in feminist International Relations and continues to engage in the field including as a reader for journals, publishers, and graduate students. Jindy’s current research focuses on transnational feminisms, a feminist politics of region, and gender and war.
The AASRN is a formal network for academic, community and other institutional groups who research in the area of Asian Australian Studies.
