Inez Saptenno
Inez Saptenno is the head of the Research Center for Cultural Developments and Language Services, Universitas Nasional, Jakarta, Indonesia. She is interested in Australian literature and culture, and has a background in American Studies, Literature, Philosophy, and Anthropology. Her university has cooperated with the Australian Embassy in inviting Australian professors to Universitas Nasional and conducting an interpreter course for Indonesian military personnel. Currently, Inez teaches literary criticism, psychology of literature, sociology of literature, pop culture, translation, and business communication. She is also preparing an ethnographic research on people in Buru Island, Maluku, Indonesia.
