Esther Chin
Esther Chin is a PhD candidate in the Media and Communications Program at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Her research explores how diasporic youth use media in their construction of cosmopolitan worldviews. The research is based on phenomenological interviews with Singaporean youth in Melbourne. Esther is Founding Editor of PLATFORM: Journal of Media and Communication, an international peer-review graduate journal. She is also Regional Liaison (Australia), Young Scholars Network, European Communication Research and Education Association (YECREA).
