We are currently planning a half-day Asian Australian forum at the Chinese Museum of Australia in Melbourne. The forum’s finale will be the launch of the newly published special issue of peak Asian American Studies journal, Amerasia, titled ‘Asian Australia and Asian America: Transnational Connections’. Contributor and Director of UCLA’s Asian American Studies Centre for many years, Professor Don Nakanishi, will be attending, as will many other key Asian Australian scholars.
